Stupid ones. They really are close to becoming facists; they were crying on the news the other day because Westminster has cut how much they give to the SNP (Scottish Nationalist Party), yet all the SNP have been harping on about is an upcoming vote on independence. What the hell - it's one or the other, you can't have both >:(
In a way, I can understand why there are Nationalists here, since the language was illegal to speak and it was illegal to teach Scottish history for a long, long time so people feel as though they are just showing pride in the country.If you have time, read this, it gives a good idea of the two sides of the Nationalist argument. I don't actually know where I stand on it but I can understand both general opinions to an extent.
BTW you have to pay fees in England for Uni, which is another big sticking point in UK politics XD Fun for all!
