Like I told you, I'm back home. :)

Iceland was very, very awesome and I love it there. ♥ More, a post with pictures (if you like?) is to follow sometime later. :)

Now there will be a lot of reading old LJ entries... xD Catching up is so much work!

More information soon, coming to a LJ near you.

And, [livejournal.com profile] ai_chi, look what happened!

Remember this post? And how I said I liked this green of the lamp so much that I'd buy a shirt of its colour as soon as I see it? Well, it has happened!! :D

Welcome back. I hope you will put up your pics of Iceland! I always wanted to go there when I lived in England, but never did. I always watch travel shows about it. It seems like such a unique and different place. What did you think of the food? (Both of the most recent shows I saw about Iceland were food-travel shows, one said good and the other said bad.)

You can still go there! It is really worth it. :)
We didn't have enough money to buy food that is worth a food-travel show. xD We mostly ate hamburgers... But the stuff with fish which I have tasted seemed tasty enough to me. ♥
What did those shows say in detail? :3

Sorry it took so long for me to answer; not spending much time online this summer!

I do hope to see Iceland someday. Right now my passport is expired.

The TV host who raved about it was Andrew Zimmern on Bizarre Foods. He went with a family to their hunting resort (to capture some birds) and the scenery was majestic; it was in the summer.

The man who disliked Iceland was Anthony Bourdain on No Reservations. He attended a dinner of traditional/heritage foods preserved in the old ways. Said it was gross, even the liquor. He was there during the time of the Midnight Sun and the highlight of the trip for him was a pub crawl (with some young chefs) in the capitol and they all got extremely drunk.

Don't worry, it just means you have a life. ;)

Oh, right, you need a passport for traveling! I hate that! I will have to get one to if I want to see Russia (and a visa...). Every state should be a Schengen state!

Interesting! :D We don't have that kind of shows here, when it's about cooking it's mostly about normal people cooking normal food. :/
